Ezequiel Rodriguez is a 99 year old man who was born and raised in the town of San Julian, Jalisco. At 17 years old Ezequiel was working in the field when Commander Miguel Hernandez handed him a gun and told him to start shooting. He became part of the first armed uprising against the government, in the Cristero War. To this day Ezequeil still independently works on his corn field while he smokes and takes care of his wife Juana Rodriguez. They have been married for over 50 years.
